They have a fantastic opportunity for a Supply Chain Assistant to join their team in Devizes.
Hours
Monday – 08:30-17:00
Tues, Weds & Thurs: 08:30-17:30
Friday: 08:30-15:30
Salary: £21,000.00 per annum
Main tasks include
– Raising purchase orders via requisitions (consulting with buyer regarding CAPEX orders). Review and verification of correct coding, delivery date, and price checking of product/spare parts.
– To assist with purchasing projects; which includes adherance to key milestones; communicate & involve all stakeholders as required
– Management of online ordering via web accounts
– Researching and adding/recommending new vendors for particular requirements (when required)
– To support other departments with asisitance on ad-hoc requests. This in relation to multimedia, events, paperwork
– Support Improvement and Plant growth Projects RFP/RFQ/Admin when required
– Management of DHL online, sending/receiving boxes and letters. This in conjunction with the Logisitics coordinator
– Analysis of cost, updating of spreadsheets with cost evolution (Freight, PPE, Spare parts
– Assist with supplier evaluation and risk analysis/scoring of vendors
– Updating of inflation report with required data
– Assisting the Senior Buyer with invoice queries, resolution of issues (price/specification). Liasing with GBS invoicing
– To provide holiday cover for the Senior Buyer when necessary
– To provide holiday cover for the Logistic coordinator when necessary
– To ensure compliance with all BRC and ISO requirements including Audits where required
Comply with all Plant BBC / BBQ requirements
– To support with all other tasks as agreed with and determined by the Senior Buye
