Our well established and long standing client based in Devizes are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join their team.
Salary: £28,571.90 per annum

Hours: 4 weeks days – 2 weeks nights – 0500-1700/1700-0500 Continental
Preferred candidate would have an in date Counterbalance Forklift License – in house training can potentially be provided for the right candidate.
Thier team of Warehouse Operatives are responsible for ensuring the accurate unloading and loading of Goods in / out, and to ensure that stock reporting is accurate using goods receipt, despatch, and stock-counting methods
The main duties include
To observe company environmental, health and safety regulations at all times
To carry out all FLT safety checks and operate trucks and other equipment safely
To control and update the stock information on the computer system (i.e goods receipt from production and purchase orders, record usage of raw materials, despatch of finished goods, etc)
To prepare and load pallets of finished goods for despatch, and prepare the necessary paperwork and samples to accompany despatches
To control the transfer of CHEP / GKN pallets using the Pallet Exchange Note and Transfer Advice Note books
To control the supply of packaging items to production thereby ensuring the smooth running of the day-to-day production operations
To inform the Warehouse Supervisor of any likely shortfalls in stock (i.e packaging, lubricant etc.)
To undertake the monthly physical stoke-take of slugs, finished goods, packaging, etc, in conjunction with the Warehouse Supervisor and maintain these stocks in SAP to month end deadlines
To check, unload, and record all incoming deliveries, and to inform the intended recipient of the receipt of delivery
To load and record all outgoing pallets of scrap cans, cardboard, aluminium clippings, scrap pallets.
To ensure visitors to site (i.e drivers) comply with Company environmental, Health and Safety regulations
To provide Banksman duties for all lorries whilst on Ball Aerosol Packaging premises.
To ensure that all outgoing deliveries are loaded to Company standards and that all incoming goods are received in good order.
To maintain plant equipment in good order and report any defects for corrective action
To maintain good housekeeping and safe working practices at all times.
To adhere to BRC and ISO 9001 requirements.
To constantly look for opportunities to improve the process or product
