Our client have undergone a period of rapid growth and are currently recruiting for a regional sales manager to join the team at their headquarters in Corsham, Wiltshire.
For over 70 years thier clinical products have been at the forefront of laboratory science. With a broad spectrum of carefully engineered preanalytical products that are operable across conventional and molecular testing platforms, their products are the de facto standard aiding the diagnosis of infectious disease.
With a reporting line to the Global Sales Director, the successful post holder will be an integral part of the clients Sales team and contribute to the planning and delivery of a national sales strategy and be responsible for the development and implementation of business specific sales goals.
Salary: £60,000.00 per annum – + 10-20% OTE – To be discussed

Location: HQ in Corsham – But role will mostly be remote and lots of travelling included.
Car allowance is included.
KEY Roles & Responsibilities
*To create and execute a strategic plan that expands the UK customer base
*To grow Sales within the United Kingdom
*To Identify and report on business-to-business opportunities in target markets
*Meet with potential clients and grow long lasting relationships by understanding their needs
*Set objectives for the sales team, train, and coach, monitor performance to ensure responsibilities are fulfilled
*To Maximise business opportunities, build a strong pipeline, and driving sector growth
*To meet and exceed revenue expectations
*Support sales process by anticipating and resolving issues expediently
*Develop and maintain a strong understanding of industry issues and competitive landscape
*Represent customer interests in driving business strategy and management decisions
*Work cooperatively with executive management, colleagues to foster a positive company culture
*Maintain accurate sales records through Sage CRM
*Liaise fully with the marketing team to design and execute short- and long-term marketing campaigns for the business-to-business revenue stream
*To represent MWE at trade shows, conferences, and events as appropriate
*Manage month-end and year-end close processes
*A strong business acumen
*Has a commitment to over-achievement
*A minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales, preferably within the diagnostics industry
*Degree qualified in a science subject, preferably microbiology
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills
*Working knowledge of CRM systems and ability to use effectively for reporting and opportunity management
*Excellent communication, problem-solving and presentation skills
