To effectively manage the Devizes plant Supply chain and Customer service team. Supply coordination and service goals across plants network. Maintain highest levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty and to meet Supply chain and Customer service objectives.
Lead and manage purchasing savings and cost avoidance activities.
To lead efforts and ensure key accounts supply chain commitments are met (capacity, safety stock, lead time,OTIF, etc).
To participate in meetings (along with sales manager) with filling locations to ensure communication lines are open and flowing & above objectives are met.
To achieve monthly sales targets and carry out associated reporting.
To ensure production, shipment and delivery are in full, working with other plants & functions as needed, and to monitor customer satisfaction.
To play lead role in daily and weekly planning meeting and in decisions made in these meetings.
To actively manage pursuit of payment of overdue customer invoices, including ensuring accuracy of invoice information.
To monitor & ensure up to date & accurate pricing is used in preparation of all invoices.
To prepare & submit weekly, detailed monthly forecast for the plant.
To monitor & maintain lowest possible stock levels for all customers.
To review plant “business review” (BR ) follow ups, close open issues, and identify ways to prevent/avoid these identified issues.
To manage Devizes SC & CS team, to organize the workload of team members and allocation of the work.
To cooperate on maintaining and up-dating ISO systems anc compliance with BRC standards.
Actively participate in purchasing activities
Lead purchasing saving plans and cost avoidance
To carry out monthly OTIF reporting.
To act as buffer role for team when needed.
This role involves travel for customer meetings and company meetings in various European operations.
To lead continuous improvement.
