Our Production Operatives have the opportunity to experience all areas of our process.
Our Necking department have the responsibility to control the necking process, ensuring the production of a consistent necked can that satisfies customer requirements.
The main duties in the necking department are
To observe environmental, health and safety working practices at all times.
To comply with BRC requirements at all times
To maintain a high level of housekeeping within the necking area including clean floor / swarf.
To support production to ensure that quality standards are met in adherence to ISO 9001 requirements and remedial action taken where necessary.
Necking Machines and Tooling
To set and run the necking machines
To carry out fault finding on necking machines and correct as required.
To prepare tooling required for the current and subsequent job.
To keep all spares for the necking machine in good order.
To monitor and control usage, tool life and requisition within Necking
