Our client is looking for a Maintenance Manager to support a team of maintenance technicians.

The ideal candidate will have time served as Maintenance Manager or equivalent, with experience developing and implementing a Planned Preventative Maintenance system and proven experience in managing a team.

Monday to Friday 40 hours per week with Flex.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will manage the existing planned preventative maintenance
(PPM) system, and lead a team of technicians, and at all times drive improvements in maintenance
and scheduling.
The ideal candidate with have time served as Maintenance Manager or equivalent, with experience
developing and implementing a Planned Preventative Maintenance system and proven experience in
managing a team.
Key areas of responsibility
* Develop a high-performing maintenance team with a culture of delivery and continuous improvement
through effective leadership and management to deliver operational excellence
* Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory legislation and the internal company Safety, Health and
Environmental Standards
* Drive improvements in plant availability and performance, including costs, through the implementation
of maintenance best practices across the site
* Own, develop and evolve the maintenance strategy, implementing a common maintenance platform
* The implementation and delivery of maintenance procedures, initiatives and controls across all areas
of responsibility
* Liaise between functions to ensure team work, consistency, co-ordination and best practice to
eliminate losses from poor practices or communication and to expedite learning
* Develop and own annual maintenance budgets
* Manage and further develop the established site maintenance management software system
* To deputise for the plant manager in their absence.

Main Responsible

* Develop a high-performing maintenance team with a culture of delivery and continuous
improvement through effective leadership and management to deliver operational
excellence.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory legislation and the internal company Safety,
Health, Quality and Environmental Standards.
* Drive improvements in plant availability and performance, including costs, through the
implementation of company maintenance best practices across the whole site.
* Develop and evolve the engineering maintenance strategy.
* Ensure implementation and delivery of maintenance procedures, initiatives and controls
across all areas of responsibility.
* Liaise between functions to ensure team work, consistency, co-ordination and best
practice to eliminate losses from poor practices or communication and to expedite
learning.
* Develop and manage the annual maintenance budgets.
* Management of the established site maintenance, planning and cost reporting systems to
maximise their potential to the organisation.
* Keep abreast of and apply, where appropriate, new condition monitoring technologies,
maintenance improvement ‘tools’ and processes.
* Support the development of engineering staff by defining and where necessary, providing,
training in activities that support maintenance improvement and coaching.
* Define and implement KPI’s to monitor the performance of all maintenance employees,
contractors, plant and equipment.
* Ensure all engineering documentation, records and files are kept up to date as required.
