Our client have undergone a period of rapid growth and are currently recruiting for a regional sales manager to join the team at their headquarters in Corsham, Wiltshire.
For over 70 years their clinical products have been at the forefront of laboratory science. With a broad spectrum of carefully engineered preanalytical products that are operable across conventional and molecular testing platforms, their products are the de facto standard aiding the diagnosis of infectious disease.
Reporting to the Global Sales Director, the successful post holder will be an integral part of the clients Sales team, and he/she will contribute to the planning and delivery of a global B2B strategy and be responsible for the development and implementation of business specific sales goals.
Salary: £60,000.00 per annum – + 10-20% OTE – To be discussed

Location: HQ in Corsham – But role will mostly be remote and lots of travelling included.

KEY Roles & Responsibilities.
*Propose, develop, and implement a B2B Sales strategy
*Identifying and reporting on business-to-business opportunities and enhancing product proposition in new and existing markets
*Maximising business opportunities, building a strong pipeline, and driving sector growth
*To meet and exceed revenue expectations
*Support sales process by anticipating and resolving issues expediently
*Develop and maintain a strong understanding of industry issues and competitive landscape
*Represent customer interests in driving business strategy and management decisions
*Work cooperatively with executive management, colleagues to foster a positive company culture
*Maintain accurate sales records through Sage 200 CRM
*Liaise fully with the marketing team to design and execute short- and long-term marketing campaigns for the business-to-business revenue stream
*To represent MWE at trade shows, conferences, and events as appropriate
*Manage and report on the sales budget
*A strong business acumen
*Has a commitment to over-achievement
*A minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales
*A minimum of 3 years in B2B sales, preferably within the diagnostics industry, with a demonstrative ability to achieve sales targets and build relationships with senior executives in target markets
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills
*Working knowledge of CRM systems and ability to use effectively for reporting and opportunity management
*Excellent communication, problem-solving and presentation skills
