Our Calne based client is looking for an individual who is driven by progression, Assisting the Accounts Administrator with all aspects of day to day accounting.

This engineering company are very forward thinking and always looking towards training and progressing staff members through the company.

With this on offer for the right candidate, this opportunity is not to be missed.

Starting Salary – £18,000 – £21,000 depending on experience.

Hours – 08:00 – 16:30 Mo-Thu, 08:00-13:00 Fri = 37hrs

Good understanding of MS Office, especially Word and Excel also Internet savvy.

Xero accounts package and Sage payroll would be an advantage although full training will be provided.

Job Role

*allocating customer payments
*Bank reconciliation
*checking delivery notes against orders & allocating PL invoices
*General administrative support as required
*Answering inbound calls,
*Keeping personnel files updated,
*Filing, document creation and other.
*Assisting with payroll (all training given)
*Compiling time sheets from clocking in system.

Please note: attitude and ability to learn and an alert mind more important than experience. Pay bracket according to experience.

This role would be best suited to someone who is interested in working/studying towards bookkeeping/accounting qualification – this is potentially a long-term position with prospects to be promoted within accounts. Good with numbers and spelling, exact and conscientious. Ability to work confidently on own initiative, not scared to ask questions
